MayNews, finally!
So sorry it took us so long to get back on track. We’ve been here since March 9th and almost all moved in. You know, almost means that some boxes we’ll be staying in the garage for the next few months, !!).
Thanassi has not yet realized he is retired. From unpacking he went onto the garden and decided we need lots of fruit trees. After planting them we’re now putting together a couple of raised beds for our vegetable garden. I’ve included some pics to show you our progress. Theophano is applying to ASU in Phoenix and should start this July. Pavlos is looking forward to and internship in New York and getting ready to leave Boston. He’s flying down this Thursday and will stay for about 10 days before going back to Boston for finals. As for me I love it. I’m learning about gardening in the desert and already killed a few potted plants. I forgot to water them for a couple of days. Can’t afford to do things like that around here, This isn’t PA .
Thanks to all our dear friends and customer for keeping in touch through e mail. It’s nice to have a little part of us still left behind with you all.
I’ll post new pics of the house( and us) soon,

That’s it, our last night! and what a night!! So many loyal customers came to give us their warmest wishes for our new life in Arizona. We had so many reservations that, unfortunately, we couldn’t accommodate everyone.
Having to say goodbye to so many people dear to our hearts in so many ways was not easy. I promised myself that I wouldn’t cry, but I couldn’t help myself. Someone reminding us of all the great times we spent together and the thought of not seeing each other again was all it took!!
The new owners, Tom and Nancy Winters came over today and we had a lovely diner at the restaurant. Us, reminiscing and sharing with them the great memories we’ll take with us of almost 30 years at Terry’s and rejoicing in the thought that now, they will share the same friendships with the best customers any restaurant could ever have!!
We want to thank our staff for the great work they did all these years. We were very blessed to have them with us.
Tomorrow is the signing. 1PM. All comes to and end and all begins.
